This year, the main fundraising event is being sponsored by the Mon Valley-West YMCA Swim Team. This swim-a-thon, also known as Coach Marissa Day is open to all swimmers and ex-swimmers who want to raise money for the Foundation and have fun! There will be games and prizes and plenty of concessions.
You can raise your own sponsors who can sponsor you for each lap you swim or a lump sum donation. You can use this form for your sponsors and then get ready to swim! You can request more information by emailing Kelly at kbrandenburg@nrces.com or the SwimTeam at info@wyst.org
We welcome any gifts and other give-aways for this event as prizes. Tax deductible donations can be made payable to: Marissa Boyan Scholarship Fund

2009 SWIM-A-THON
Information regarding the scholarship will be mailed to all WPIAL Athletic Departments and Guidance Departments requesting nominees from their school who display the characteristics listed on the form. The Board will then narrow the applicants down depending on the number and set up interviews with those final applicants.
